Meet Ben Connelly Zen teacher and author

Connelly’s work, Inside the Grass Hut: Living Shitou’s Classic Zen Poem, is the study text in the current MBZC Saturday class series and it will be the topic of his talk.

Ben Connelly is a Soto Zen teacher and author of Inside the Grass Hut: Living Shitou’s Classic Zen Poem. Ben will join our regular online Zoom class focusing on Shitou’s seminal work on Saturday, January 8th from 4:00-5:30 p.m,

Ben Connelly is a Dharma heir in the Katagiri lineage. He also teaches mindfulness in a wide variety of secular contexts including police and corporate training, correctional facilities, and addiction recovery and wellness groups. Ben is based at Minnesota Zen Meditation Center and travels to teach across the United States. He lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
