Using the online submission forms for all MBZC activities, events, classes, workshops, eBlasts, Facebook postings. Online practice too!

Once you’ve done this a couple of times, you will realize how easy it is and how the forms are your best assurance that nothing about your event will be overlooked by you and much less likely by the Media Team.

  • Not necessary for your own blog (you control that content and we encourage you to do so).

  • Otherwise necessary for all other website, eBlast, and Facebook postings and requests. This now includes any online events too. Just think of them like any other event or activity. Let us know if you need help setting up your online platform and we’ll do our best to connect you to the best resource or coordinator.

  • The forms provide the information to the Media Team concisely and consistently. Cuts down on multiple email exchange and reply-alls that become difficult to sort through or easily misunderstood.

  • We will get back to you by email with specific questions only as necessary and or to confirm all is in order.

  • Important details, sometimes overlooked, are less likely to fall through the cracks.

  • Inadvertent "editing" in a web location/place other than your own page or blog becomes less likely.

Some Tips:

  • Click submit buttons only after you are absolutely sure the form is complete with all extra details. Be sure to upload any additional files, images before finally submitting the form.

  • Although each new activity/event submission requires its own form and submitting a form does not refresh a new form that can be edited from the previous one, the forms get simpler for those who use a browser (such as Chrome) that will remember field entries (such as your name!) so you don't have to key-in as much. Future forms get easier.

  • If you think you might extend an event or want to revive or repeat one, with only date or time change or a few details, you may use a Correction form or give us heads up in your initial submission.

  • If multiple changes are being submitted (especially if all are suggested for same page), it is OK to put on a single form. If reporting an error or omission please provide the URL (address) or page name from the browser tab on the page.

  • Your concept of a flier is not really helpful to us like it might have been in the past. You may have noticed we do not create/post fliers any longer. You may attach a Word document with text you want us to use and your images separately if you like, but PDFs are no longer helpful. Thank you!

  • Please save these direct links to the forms on your desktop. Logging into SquareSpace is not necessary to complete and submit them:
