A sangha celebration of the fall season and vegetarian cuisine freely offered to the MBZC community.

Not long ago the idea of sharing a meal with friends was something of a radical act. Covid upended the ritual of dinner with friends, making large meals seem like a relic from a lost era. However, this fall, as the virus continues to wane and social contact continues to broaden, the Teaching Council of the Monterey Bay Zen Center is offering a dinner to practice the “good friendship” of sangha.

For All in the Ten Directions will celebrate the fall season with vegetarian cuisine on Friday, November 17 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Carl Cherry Center for the Arts in Carmel. Seasonal ingredients and simple dishes prepared with unstinting care will be offered to all active sangha participants.

The event is free, but donations are graciously accepted to Monterey Bay Zen Center HERE.
